Our cat, Stanley, sometimes like to hunch himself up in a scooting position and slide himself across the rug, pulling forward with his front paws. What gives?

Have you ever heard of pinworms? Well, your cat has. He’s really concerned about the possibility of infestation in your house. He’s literally dragging your rug out the door, telling you to have it cleaned lest there be larvae in rhe rug, ready to invade your body through your bare feet and eventually lay their eggs in your brain. There they hiberanate for 30 or 40 years until one day, when you least expect it and you’re receiving a lifetime achievement award at some banquet, the eggs will hatch and your head will melt, right then and there, into a pile of odiferous ooze. So pay attention to your cat. He’s only looking out for your best interest, not a splotch of DNA.
