I recently discovered that if you crack a frozen tray of ice cubes in a dark room, the ice gives off light. Should I be concerned?

You could spend a few sleepless nights worrying about it, but it wouldn’t do any more to solve the problem than the months I never slept as a kid worrying about the Cuban Missile Crisis or something. Actually, that early ’60s freak-out turned out to be a sheep in wolf’s clothing because it was then I learned that sleep is optional. Drink enough caffeine, and you transcend sleep altogether. What I accomplished with Mountain Dew back then, I do now with a few well brewed pots of Ethiopian Harararararar, the largest and most pungent bean of all. Hey, I like to chew ice cubes in the dark. It’s trippy.
