Why do our heads itch when we think?

Thinking causes dandruff. This is why advertisers of medicated shamppos target a more thoughtful audience. Next time you watch “Nightline,” just see how many of the ads are for dandruff shampoos. Of course, the deepest thinkers don’t watch much TV, even PBS. I’ve heard Joyce Carol Oates has terrible flaking, and Noam Chomsky can’t leave the house without first vacuuming his shoulders. On the other hand, popular novelist Robert Waller doesn’t have any problems with dandruff and sports a full head of hair. Go figure.
