Although it wasn&#8217;t well known in comic book circles, Betty&#8217;s dark-haired rich girlfriend suffered from intense migraine headaches. She hoped, fleetingly, that Archie or  Reggie or Jughead could divert her from this pain but was unsuccessful.  The only cure would have consisted of simply cutting her bangs &#8212; something Veronica was unwilling to do.  It seems Veronica had no forehead &#8212; a condition far more grotesque than Veronica Syndrome.
