Actually, that early &#8217;60s freak-out turned out to be a sheep in wolf&#8217;s clothing because it was then I learned that sleep is optional.  Drink enough caffeine, and you transcend sleep altogether.  What I accomplished with Mountain Dew back then, I do now with a few well brewed pots of Ethiopian Harararararar, the largest and most pungent bean of all.  Hey, I like to chew ice cubes in the dark.
