When my hairline began to recede during an especially intense work period that lasted most of the summer of &#8217;67, I quickly formulated a synthetic hair that never needs to be washed or combed, and will long outlast any other part of me. DuPont, I believe, bought the patent and now manufactures it as a fiber for indoor\/outdoor carpeting.  I called it &#8220;Dynel&#8221; after my first wife, Dinah.
