Particle physics is a new way of defining the universe in order to explain particle board. Traditional Newtonian physics holds that similarly charged particles repel one another. Particle board is made up of billions of identical sawdust molecules, each of which holds a positive charge.  Yet they line up in neat rows like peas in a pod, ready and willing to hold cheap furniture together. How does particle physics explain this newfound cooperative spirit?  The positive charge is actually a positive attitude. Being willing to work together allows humble sawdust molecules to approximate stately wood.
